I want to know the server performance, High End VPS vs Low End Dedicated, what do you think? Which Better?
I want to offer Shared Hosting or Reseller Hosting to my client, and I plan to host 100 - 200 simple website (static, low traffic).
My shared hosting plan are 50M space/1G bandwith, 100M space/2G bandwith, and 250M space/5G bandwith. I'm currently using reseller account.

You can't easily compare a VPS to a dediated machine. But take for example if you purchase a cheap dedicated server, it probably has a single proc, small amount of memory and single disk. It might perform ok, but if that hard disk ever failed, you're out of luck.

Whereas, if you site doesn't require a dedicated server (ie. can run on shared or VPS), you would hopefully benefit because your provider should be using some type of RAID setup with multple procs and a high amount of memory.

I personally really like the idea of VPS the fact that they take care of the security stuff really helps reduce to cost of hiring server techs and what not. The software is also very secure so it helps prevent DDoS,etc

That is also a big bonus.
