I have a website that has great product to sell at very low price compare to others, our targeted customer area is Uk, europe and australia.

We have listed our site on googles adwords yesterday, abo0tu 24 hours pass now. Since the industry we are in is quite competitive, we have tried to adjust to get good ranking, first we bid for 0.10 per click, we are in the 9th page, then we bid for $0.27 per click and we are in the 4th page after an hour, but another hour later, it goes back to 9th page, so we bid for $0.36 per click and now we are in page 10 :(

Anyone could help pls, we have no clue on what is happening, is it that everytime we change our adtext(subject, description) + CCP, our position will drop very much?

Why are you trying to use a word that is so common? Try picking a specific search. Even if you got to the top of that keyword you would end up paying $x.xx a click and get a very low sign-up rate most likely.

Also you need to spend $4 to $5 per click for good positions with excellent results.

If your product is too cheap to cover this cost then adwords isnt for you.

Actually, we do tryied to use googles adwords in 2004 year, May till August, and the bid we set is about 0.26 CCP and we are usually listed in top 3 page in google.co.uk and top page in google.com.au, and the result we get is fantastic that time. But then, we stop for a few months, and now we are back again for using adwords, but for 0.27 CCP now, we get nothing in the past 24 hours, and we only get 11 clicks in one day, am not sure if this is becaused by we change our CCP, Headline, Description every few hours in hoping to get better position(because when we change sometimes it will not appears in search) or is because the price has already flunctuate so badly, that 0.27 CCP is no longer enough anymore to get top few page in this few months?

But also another question i had in my mind is that, sometimes, i am even listed the last page of the search result, which I do not believe that no one bids for less than 0.27, i am sure there is some bidding for 0.05 (minimum)

* my campaign CTR is 0.7% and total campaign CTR is 0.6%, does googles list page according to CTR based on each campaign, keyword, or total campaign?
