Hi,

I just found the 3rd party processor commercepayment.com (they seem to belong to a big company/bank and are around since 2000) when my host Ultraunix.net gave me a new link to process my monthly payments through.

While they are based in Malaysia they also accept international clients. Fees are as following (with several smaller or bigger custom packages available):

Setup Fees
RM380 <- approx. $99 USD

Transaction Fees
4.5 %

Monthly Fees
RM 120 per month <- approx. $31 USD

Optional Services
Please contact us for pricing

Iīve also asked them some questions which I got a fast response to:

"is it possible to use your system as a German Company?
<Yes.

Can the account be held in Euro and do the same fees apply for us?
<Sorry, we only support USD.
<Our fees structure applies to all merchants regardless of their <base of operation.

How much does payoff to a bank account in Germany cost?
<Sorry, I do not understand your question. Are you referring as <to how we pay you? If so, we will wire transfer the funds to <your account; however, the bank charges for the wire transfer <will be borne by you."

They also seem to speak good english! Well, looks like a good alternative, except that you canīt hold the account in Euro (but USD is possible).

Looks like an interesting alternative, especially for Asian companies. Rates appear to be reasonable.

I'd also like to find out about the experience of any merchants using their services?

I will also add them to the Maculator database as a 3rd party processor.

Very good idea, you are right. However, they should be suitable for international users since you can hold everything in USD and they just told me Euro as well soon.

On the other hand, the 20% reserve may cause a cash-flow problem to many merchants.

Also, converting to Malasian Ringgit may be a bit of inconvenience, as required for all transactions.

I didn't see anything on their website about multi-language support, either?

Good point, didnīt see the 20% reserve. Wow, thatīs much!

Btw, something totally different, I think it is time to remove MyPaySystems from the Maculator ;-)

I'm not sure whether to remove MyPaySystems from the Maculator or just make a comment about complaints in the Updates page. A few people are still clicking on their links but that doesn't mean that they are signing up.

I have seen the many serious complaints against MyPaySystems in other topics on this forum and will continue to investigate if MyPaySystems is capable of providing the services they offer.

The Maculator does not endorse any of the providers listed in the database and urges merchants to check for complaints in various forums about any provider before making a decision to sign up for services.

Thats a good point.

I find it incredible how people jump from one processor to another, why not choice one of the bigger and well known and stay ? Take care of your own business and use alot of time on it to get it grow

Authorize.net is an excellent payment gateway, but it's not a 3rd party processor. You need a merchant account to use any of the many payment gateways.

A 3rd party processor provides a payment gateway and a merchant account in one package.

I am not quite sure if these things are even illegal per the Malaysian law - this is not the USA or Europe, itīs a own country with own laws.

Maybe Wong from Ultraunix can tell us more, since he is from there.

I think there is no problem sell pirated DVD's from malaisya its their laws...

Malaysian law protects intellectual properties and no way our government endorse pirated goods. Our police / authority would run out of job if Malaysia is crimeless. In fact, it is 'unhealty" in sociology.

On the other hand, if you sell it online and use VISA and MC they will not accept it.

Do you feel comfortable to use a processor which is
processing illegal pirated DVD?

This is CommercePayment address:
https://www.commercepayment.com/main.jsp?PAGEID=CPcontact_us1

This is CommercePayment's another web site for doing
their illegal things:
http://www.infinitium.com/contact.htm

The pirated DVD web site URL was www.itismovie.com, but now
they just got shut down.

I suspect CommercePayment is helping more than one Malaysia pirated DVD web sites to process credit card payments.

I know they are related, group of companies but where did you get the info where they helped processing illegal pirated DVD? I'll report to them and look for explanation if it's true.

It is definitely true, CommercePayment is helping Malaysia
illegal DVD web sites to process credit card payments.

I think your question to CommercePayment is quite silly, will they
answer "Yes" to you?

I mean those Malaysia illegal DVD web sites are selling their illegal DVD to international market, especially to the US, UK, Europe and Australia, and CommercePayment is processing the credit card payments.
