You can get a cheap 1U case that is just that -- cheap. It will cause you problems. These onl-spec servers have firm mounts, thumbscrews, etc. Drew dektong 02-27-2002, 02:13 PM online-spectrum is cheap, but only for the low end servers ... Try to configure a server with 4GB of memory, SCSI, Dual CPUs, etc and you will see you can save around $1500-$2000 than if you build the server yourself ... But other than that, yes online-spectrum is really affordable for low-end server.
