I have a shared account with VO. running a PHPBB2 board and eventually i will be using more resources and will need to upgrade. I am not ready for a dedicated solution yet. On their next plan VO has a 650mb limit with 30 gb of transfer.
Service is great, speed good and reliabiltiy primo.

Now problem:
Heard good things about tera-byte and their service.
They offer the same type of Virtual hosting with increased allocation plus:
multiple domains that VO does not offer.
2 GB of space.
50 GB of transfer
all for the same price.

What would you guys do here. Help me make a choice.
I already know that VO rocks but tera-byte is offering so much more.:confused:

Thats a tough question.
In the end I think you will have to determine if the EXTRAS are worth the move.
Generally if you are happy where you are at, then I would stay put!

Stay with VO... Just my opinion.

Both companies are good, my opinion is stay put. If VO is providing you with good service and support and your a happy with them why take a chance to go somewhere else. As mentioned above if the features offered at Tera-Byte are that appealing perhaps ask VO if they would be able to do the same, they may be willing to offer you a custom package that you desire and then you wont have to move :D

Yah, I know everyone are greedy, including me, but why move if you have a wonderful service at a good price?
VO are not ripping you off, you get what you pay for, you have no experience with tera-byte. Why move? To get more things that you dont need?

If you are happy with VO, stay.
Believe me, it's hard enough being relaxed and happy when involved with webhosting, if you are at that situation dont disturb your balance :D

The EXTRAS were just so good. But you guys are right.
I guess i learned a lesson today. I think i will be staying with VO.

well, if you decided to stay you just try to ask for a custom package as suggested by DigitalXWeb.

Stay....stay....stay....build upon the relationship established.

Look around at all the people not happy at various places and be thankful you found good service. I say this to all who have found someone who supports them well...

No, the plan you are talking about with Tera-byte is a virtual server. Right now you have virtual hosting from VO.
There is a difference.

a good rule of thumb, with Web hosting, is that if you're happy with your current host, STICK WITH THEM.
No matter how much greener the grass if over there, at least you know that your current host is good.

It is so difficult to find a good host...
