i am having trouble installing webcp, i get an error...

/usr/bin/php is needed by webcp

i know that file is there so why am i getting this error.
And what can i do to fix it.

Are you definatly sure its there ? Some systems place it in different locations.. e.g. /usr/sbin/php ... which can cause it to error out.

are you installing by rpm?

yes i am by rpm

I am pretty sure php is there.

Fire in whereis php to get the actual path of php in the server.

/usr/bin/php
/etc/php.conf
/usr/local/bin/php
/usr/local/lib/php.ini
/usr/local/lib/php

actually you may need to make sure php rpms are installed. or you can try issuing --nodeps
