Hey all

We are ready to move our site to a new host, and I would like to solicit the opinions of anyone out there who has used either of these two services - !ultima-web (http://www.ultima-web.com/features.shtml) and wantsomegetsome (http://www.wantsomegetsome.net/prices/unix.htm).
They both seem to have really good packages for the price ($17.95 for the only package ultima-web offers and $16.95 for wsgs's standard Unix package).
I am leaning towards WSGS, if only because of the larger amount of space for $1 less.

Any thoughts or good or bad experiences?

Thanks,
Kevin

Hi,

I have never heard any of them. I would recommend you check them out at http://hostindex.com

Good luck

Hi,

The first company - http://www.ultima-web.com/features.shtml i would avoid myself because they state they offer unlimited bandwidth and thats not possible.

The second company - a few months back if i remember correctly over at freewebspace.net before they changed forum software there was a lot of complaints about them never answring support or sales emails.

If you are looking for a host that offers lots of bandwidth i would suggest using http://www.tera-byte.com ...The service you get from tera-byte is simply the best. We choose them to host our server because they were so good.

UltimaWeb is a good company. I've talked with the owner before and he is a great guy.

They are communitech resellers. Although communitech has changed their policy recently on unlimited bandwidth, so you should contact them in regards to exactly how much you get with their standard package.
