Here's a little email I had from Ensim in reply to an email with some questions I sent them. I found I quite amusing, but also a bit disappointing to think a company could send something like this:

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ensim has not tested nor do we support Red Hat 7.2 with our current WEBppliance LS 3.0. Go ahead and get the Red Hat 7.1 and use/learn our interface. In mid April Ensim will release the WEBppliance that support Red Hat 7.2 and our Win2k
WEBppliance. Along with other request- Internationalization and a 4th tier control panel for Resellers. Ensim is the "Best". Dont let Red Hat 7.2 keep you from Ensim...temporarily not even.

Let me know if I can be of more help.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I guess that's good news for all the win2k CP searchers out there, but how could they suggest I just get rid of my OS and install a RH 7.1, just so I can use their CP. Also bare in mind the email I sent that this was an answer to, was sent 2 weeks ago to Ensim, so I guess speed isn't their strongest point either. And I always find is shamefull when somebody clains they are 'the best' like this,. I should send them another email and ask them to proove it, but then I guess I'll have to wait another 2 weeks for the answer :D

This is very good news! I can't get anything out of our rep, but I can come here and get some skinny. It sounds like the three #1 request I have seen, RH 7.2, Plesk/CPanel style reselling, and language support, has been addressed.

Well, since I posted this, I've been contacted by an Ensim rep and all my questions have been answered. The longest I've had to wait for an answer from the rep I'm in contact with is about 2 hours, so I'm a happy camper now :)

The question to your answer is that their product has been made to work with 7.1. Many of the bug fixes, many features, require certain versions of software to be instaleld (this is a common practice in business software). to release a version with 7.2, they have to do a lot of testing, and most likely some changes to make it work properly.

You could try 7.2, but I'd actually feel safer with 7.1 if that's what they're supporting.
