With WHM when I am trying to modify quota by 'quota modification' it shows error message
edquota: Can't initialize quota on /dev/hda7: No such file or directory
edquota: Can't initialize quota on /dev/hda5: No such file or directory
edquota: Can't initialize quota on /dev/hda6: No such file or directory
Using redhat 6.x support
Can any body help me to resolve this problem.

Have you initiated the quotas through WHM?

Do you have your own dedicated server or the reseller WHM? If your own, go to "Inital Quota Setup". If not, ask your provider to initiate quotas for you :)

Ok I had started it and it was show the message quota are now on after then I again tried to modify the quota but still it showing same error.

make sure you give it enought time to initialize the quotas (you will see stramge Charachters going across the scree -0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0
some people click next or get out of it as soon as it says the quotas are ON .. they are not

If you are still having problems, run the script manually from the shell (as root) as follows:
/scripts/initquotas

I had run these scripts and i hope it run sucessfully .But It didn't solve my problems.
