I've gone and done it!

I forgot to renew a domain in NameCheap. The domain expired on the 15th (3 days ago). Is it possible to save it still? I've sent NameCheap an e-mail but yet to hear from what they have to say.

Thanks!

I did that . . . . once.

Stargate only wanted $150 plus registration fees.

I let it die.

NameCheap may be . . . . cheaper. :)

Check the expired section in your account. It might be there.

Not anymore. :)

Our delete policy changed this year. Stargate now holds all domains for 40 days after expiration, before dropping domains into Redemption period, and domains can be renewed for as little as $6.95 (retail) during our "Late Renewal" 40 day period.

Edit: typo

REALLY good for you guys. Dumping expired domains right into RGP actually works against the registrar's own benefits. ;)

Hello Scenes,

If you click on "manage domains" in your namecheap account you will see a link called "re-activate".
You will see this:

Domain List Renew Reactivate

Click on "Reactivate" and you will be able to see your expired domains, as well as renew them from there.

did that twice with domains won via clubdrop, managed to get one and lost the other one, this rule used to suck big time.
