http://www.whois.sc/domain-resellers/
Sort by # of domains. Some of the well-known resellers only have 100-200 domains. Is this accurate? The numbers look way too low and discourage me from pursuing reselling - except to get a wholesale rate for my own domains or for clients.

It is not accurate
yahoo domains is shown at 60,000 when in reality they are over a million
RegisterFly is shown as a reseller for #1 domains(which is wrong) and only 20,000. They are nearly 900,000.
Other resellers like http://www.995Names.com show 700,000 names yet I never heard of them?
I would say most of the list is fiction

This list looks like garbage.
There are many many many resellers.. I think that list is probably just some "put your name here and get on our web page!" scheme.
We have over 3000 resold domains under us.. but we didn't make it onto the list. Why not? Because we didn't sign up to put our name there.
The ONLY way you're ever going to get a valid list is if you had a list provided by a 3rd party with recognized research/investigation credentials. (ie: gartner...)

Even with gartner you have to be carefull and look at who paid for the report. For example if enom paid for the report godaddy might be deamed an affiliate program and there resellers not added to the list.
