Could anybody please help with the site stats in my domain CP? I only know Unique Visitor is a repeat visitor, but what about the term like "hits" and "visits"?

To make it short, I copied the stats here:

Total Hits 1266296
Total Pages 34414
Total Visits 9255
Hits per Day Avg=50651 Max=73894
Visits per Day Avg=370 Max=492 - Does visits here mean unique visits?
KBytes per Day Avg=194176 Max=361410 - Does this mean my site uses average of 200MB transfer a day?

I'm also confused with the stats in Analog link:

Successful requests: 27,490,360 (1,038,524) - Requests mean hits? or visits? what is the number in ( ) means?
Average successful requests per day: 348,248 (148,360)
Successful requests for pages: 270,437 (9,688)
Average successful requests for pages per day: 3,425 (1,383)
Distinct files requested: 148,877 (2,124) - ?
Distinct hosts served: 14,003 (310) - ?
Data transferred: 81.573 Gbytes (3.921 Gbytes)
Average data transferred per day: 1.033 Gbytes (573.731 Mbytes) - Does this mean my site uses 1GB of bandwidth a day? Why it is so different compare to the first stats?

Thanks for any explication.

Does visits here mean unique visits? Yes, but it is only an approximation, it is not possible to calculate exact number of visits without using things like sessions.

Does this mean my site uses average of 100MB transfer a day? Yes.

Requests mean hits? or visits? what is the number in ( ) means? If I remember correctly, requests mean hits. The number in parentheses is the figure for previous week.

Does this mean my site uses 1GB of bandwidth a day? Why it is so different compare to the first stats? I don't know why it is so different. I think you should ask your provider about this. It is normal for analyzers to report slightly different numbers, but not too different like this.
