There is generally quite a bit of talk on the forum realting to how young some of the "successful" hosts are on WHT, (Doesn't include me)-(succesful or young).. and I came across a poll regarding average ages.

The results were-

15-20 33.95%
21-25 22.22%
26-30 12.96%
31-40 15.43%
40+ 9.88%

There was 162 posts on that poll, representing a reasonable response and I was wondering how many in each age related category would rate themselves as "succesfull".

Now there is no way of defining successful as everyones opinion of success will be different, depending on what their living costs and standards of living are, but if we were to set a guideline of total income from web hosting as $1500usd per month or more, as the benchmark it would be interesting to see the results.

This poll will not really reflect "success" as there are so many variables that will result in wether someone is successful. Such as being 15 years old, living at home and not having the overheads that someone who is married with three kids and a mortgage might have, but on the other hand, the married person may have an advertising budget that a 15 year old might not have.

So just a bit of fun and interest combined!
