i sent register.com an email requesting to delete a domain they said i need a "notarized letter" for that.. does that mean i have to pay an lawyer just to delete a domain?

As i do not get a refund can i just wait 2 years and then not pay the bill so they delete it automatically? Or will they charge my Credit Card?

Thats how i deleted a domain with netsol.com.. apparently the only way.. they keep bothering me with emails i should pay for the domain name..

I have deleted domains through register.com and the notorized form they need can usually be done at your local bank or currency exchange (U.S. only). If there is no legal reason to delete your domain you may as well let it expire on it's own and save some leg work and postage. There is a link someplace on your register.com domain name control panel that enables/disables auto renew; it might be called something else, click to disable and you will not be charged automatically when the domain expires.

Just let it expires in two years or post your domain for sales, for all u know, u get back what u paid for.

good luck!
