My contract is almost up with my current colocation provider, and I am thinking of moving my servers here (http://www.ghetto-colo.com)
I was wondering if anyone else had any experience with them, and if so what did you think?
I am particularly impressed with the professionalism of their site, and their data center. But the security measures they have in place, are an added bonus.
Thanks for any thoughts.
Umm... I just visited the site for my own personal interest (i don't know much about dedicated servers..) But it seems like that hackers have hacked into it or something... cause there are definitely no professionalism shown... check it out for yourself and you'll know what I mean... (but might not be up by the time though..)

Whew...for a minute I thought I was too deadpan :D. Omni, the link was meant as a joke, that's why I did not post the actual URL.
The snake is the best part, but it would be more cool if they had a snake pit, instead of a single snake :).

Ghetto-colo got us started as a web host. Before we started with them we did not have a single server. Zero (0) - None! Thanks to them we have 1.
G-C (as I like to call them) have allowed us to offer such rediculaous plans like our "Super-duper budget Plan" that comes with 20 GBs of transfer, 400 Mbs of space all for $1.00/YEAR.
There support has been amazing. When our 2 GB IDE HD crashed, they told us to cut and paste this to our customers
"Sorry but we were hacked by the Chinese. They singled us out. We are working with the FBI, but in the mean time, you will need to reload everything. Please send us your account info also."
and once some idiot customer deleted his site and wanted backup. They said to send them this
"Sorry, but for some reason our huge tape back up system, called Hydra, for some reason was backing up corrupted data. Are you sure you didn't upload a virus to your web site?"
Anyway, www.umbillycordwebhost.org would be no where with them. So unless you host or colo with G-C, I suggest you stop the flaming.

Shoot...I was looking to offer 22 Gigs of transfer and 415 Megs of space for 75 cents a year...I guess I'll have to find another host :D.
