I have a personal family website currently hosted on some server. Now, I want to change my host.

My basic requirements are:
60-75 MB space
1 GB bandwidth
CGI Bin/ PHP/ Perl
FrontPage Extensions
Web Statistics & Referrer logs and,

Fast Speed and reliable servers (because I have lot of photos on my website and I want them to be accessed very fast)

I am current looking for HOSTDEPARTMENT.COM. They charge $6.95 per month that includes static IP address. If anyone has ever hosted with this provider, please give me some feeback about it. Also, I don't know how useful is to have static IP address.

Also, please suggest me some good alternative hosting providers that suit my requirements at a cheaper price and fast speed.

unfortunately, I cannot tell you anything about hostdepartment.com

however, you do not need to worry about having a static ip, only needed for anonymous ftp, ssl etc.......

A good alternative host that you might want to check out is venturesonline.com. They are not cheaper, but I have only heard good things about them.........

Was checking out hostdepartment some time ago and it seems they are related to ***** (which if you take a look around WHT, would be recommended to stay away from them)... but don't take my words... Anyone can confirm this?
