Anyone know how to delete domains at Godaddy.com? I've looked for 20 minutes but can't find out how.

Thanks

I think the registry allows a domain name to be deleted and refunded within 120 hours of registration. Was this newly regged?

I just want it deleted, I don't care about refunds. :p

This was registered a year ago.

They should be able to do it. I know RegisterFly allows deletes I am not sure about GD

Have you tried?:
My Account-->Domain Names-->Manage Domains-->Cancel Domains

Do they truly drop at the registry level or just remove from your account?

I know that this series of choices exists, but I can't do the experiment to see what happens without possibly messing up something that I want to leave as it is.
Since Fewski has a domain he wants to get rid of, I'd be interested in his results.
I should add that if the goal is to get registered with someone else, the thing to do is transfer. Canceling the account access to the domain before doing the transfer may risk losing the ability to approve a transfer, making the whole thing much harder.

From what I read in their PDF (https://www.godaddy.com/gdshop/pdf/ManageDomainNames.pdf), it does delete it.
