Hi,

I am currently testing XMB as Forum software because my host offers it with the webspace. I wonder if somebody could tell me what forum software is resource friendly if I want to adopt an existing script to my own layouts. Should I stick with XMB?

I really would wait for XMB 1.6 to come out. Its under new management, with new developers. Anywho, other forums you can try are:
phpbb.com
ikonboard.com ( with mySQL!! but even still some hosts wont allow this forum )
openbb available through iansoft.net

I have heard the same about ikonboard. Anyway I am searching for something in PHP (ikonboard is Perl).

Sorry I did not mention that in my posting.

phpBB2 & openBB.
I'm bascally waiting to see which one finishes first. They're both in RC releases right now. They are both great boards, and are pretty low resource.
