I bought a paid to read email site and the places gives us a free month of hosting when we bought it. Well today I cant send or recieve emails from either site with them. I emailed them and they said they emailed the hosting company and that next time I could contact them myself. I was told the support email was support@burst.net.

Well this was at 2 something in the afternoon. I went out and came back and was still not able to send or recieve.

I myself emailed support at 7:58 pm EST. Here it is almost midnight and the ticket has yet to be looked at.

Heres the error:

An unknown error has occurred. Subject 'testing', Account: 'mail.topdollaremails.com', Server: 'mail.topdollaremails.com', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '421 Unexpected failure, please try later', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 421, Error Number: 0x800CCC67

Anyone know if they have support on the weekend??

Also if they dont get this fixed Ill be needing a new host for 3 sites. 2 are paid to read emails. If you can make an offer please email or PM me.

Thanks!

That's nothing NEW ! ! !

I believe everyone is home and the couple of emails that do come in the CEO answer from home because you can never get support on the weekend like the rest of the week ?

Next time try calling them at 877-burstnet or try to IM them using AIM at BurstNet. They are usually really good at answering the phone. They do have this rule where they won’t pick up the phone if they are on the other line so you would have to keep trying every so often.

Then why even have a web based support system?

Some people live outside the US and don't want to spend money on long distance and BurstNet are not really good in answering their IMs.

venomx, You wouldn't happen to be using AOL, MSN, or Earthlink as your own ISP are you? If you are you might try following these directions for sending mail (this is MSNs directions but it also works for others like AOL and Earthlink who have a similar system for sending mail) -- http://supportservices.msn.com/us/content/qanda/_email_port25.htm

Some ISPs are stopping port25 outside their networks so it might work. If that doesn't work, sorry.. I hope burst can get things sorted for you.

The only place I have trouble is with the 2 accounts at Burst. All my others, ISP and McHost are fine.

Guess what. Email is STILL down. Eric asked me what was wrong, I answered. NOTHING!
