Very Nice,

Can you provide just a little bit about your datacenter, I.E. Network, do you have ddos mitigation etc....

Yes, we have a cage at the FDC data center. gigE connections via level 3 and cogent and is watched very closely for ddos attacks.

do you have aim, msn, or icq?

easyer to talk there.

Thanks,
Clint

As we've been asked numerous times now, we should add that we do have a reseller program in place for these servers. We will supply discounts to any clients purchasing multiple systems which are as follows..

1 server = No Discount

2-4 servers = 5% Discount

5-9 servers = 8% Discount

10-24 servers = 10% Discount

25-49 servers = 15% Discount

50+ servers = 20% Discount

Contact Clint or myself for more information.

I have heard that after a few days you cap servers down to the 10mbps is it true??

100Mbit port however customers that have sustained usage of 15Mbit (outbound only) or more may be asked to upgrade to a dedicated service plan or may have their port capped to 10Mbit

Whould it be possible to do shoutcast hosting on the 100 mbps ??

How many shoutcast servers do you think whould stay in the limit without going over the limit and being capped to 10 mbps ?

Yes you could definately run shoutcast from one of these boxes, and multiple shoutcast at that. There's a number of variables involved in exactly how many you could run without seeing performance issues, but it could without a doubt be done.

I believe one of our people gave you a few details regarding on this from a support ticket, but for the moment we've halted server sales. We plan to resume sales again on monday at a new data center, and prices / server models could be changing slightly at that point. We still plan to offer low cost unmetered service, but b/w usage policies will probably see a slight change. We still have the option to set up you at FDC with the policies listed on ubiquityhosting.com, however we would advise against it at this point.

Simply FYI: the reason for this is probably no big surprise to many people on the board, but FDC is failing to meet up to our standards, despite the fact that we're able to go above their heads for most issues with our colo. We plan on servers being set up after monday to be superior in virtually all aspects.

You may contact me on AIM if you would like to discuss additional issues at 'qwidjib0'.
