Rankshack.net seems fast. But I can't pay in dollars as they are based in USA.

Is there any UK host that use Rankshack.net but is offering to UK in pounds?

I'm looking for a good host that's fast, uses SQL and is not strict when there are heavy SQL usage.

In any case, www.powerraq.com is located in the UK and rents out raq4i's with 512 MB ram for 11.99 pounds per week.

It is by far the cheapest I was able to find in the UK (been looking to expand my services into Europe) but I have no idea about the quality of their service.

They have a pretty poor rep do powerraq.com.

Webfusion do pretty good priced RAQ4's and XTR's.

But would id suggest doing is visiting http://www.bigbytes.co.uk and posting there and allowing one of the UK hosts to offer you a deal. I know a few who rent out RAQ3's from tera-byte for there customers.

www.xe.com will tell you the exact exchange rate so you can put the right price on a check, put the right date on your check and send it to rackshack. Their bank will convert it to US dollars according to the exchange rate on the date of the check and BAM!

Or credit cards will do the same, but automaticly.

I only have a Switch card. I know I could pay in Cheque, but it will take ages and it would be a hassle if it's an monthly payment. There is a very high chance that a cheque in the post will be delayed and they could close my account for non-payment.

Ewww, powered by UK2net. They require you to pay 3 YEARS upfront! That's over £3,000.

Cheque takes too long and there's a high chance of delay in post.

You mean RACKshack, right? Or you being funny calling them Rank, huh?? :D

Anyway, the user dabystru on here resells Rackshack boxes... month to month, no setup fee... very good prices... and everyone seems very happy with his service.
