A company I work for in the USA was recently bought out by a Canadian company. Everytime I have to call over to our Toronto office, that's all I hear. It throws you off if you're not used to hearing it. As for the game, I'm happy simply that the USA won a medal. Remember 1998? Yes, we do speak fast at times. PEI does not smell like cod, more like potatoes since they supply a lot, even for the USA. Nova Scotia, more like coal or tar. New Brunswick would probably be like pine cones, and Newfoundland is for sure cod. However, I've lived in all the Maritimes provinces ( I moved a lot as a child ) and would say that Newfoundland is the best! I love going back to "The Rock" I would even say it's better then Vancouver and Ottawa.
