I recently started a reseller account, and created a new account listing my domain. I had an error during the account creation and it returned an error message. I hit the back button and went to re-create the account, but now I get a message that the account already exists. However when I click on view accounts no accounts are listed. I tried to create the account one more time and it again said the account had been created, and gave the error
Sorry, that domain is already setup (remove it from httpd.conf?)

My question is, how the heck do I get to httpd.conf? to remove the account??

to run httpd.conf you need to ask your host to do this because it requires root access.

in your WHM, go to DNS zone, and delete DNS zone of that account

This is a common issue where if youve deleted a domain and wish to re-add it remains in the httpd.conf. Simply have your hosting company grep for the domain in httpd.conf. I assure you its there. Have them then remove it from httpd.conf and you will then be able to re-add it.
