Hey Yall,
I'm trying to get an idea how reliable roboticalworld is. The package is large and cheap so i need to have anyone that has an account or had an account there give me the low down.
I'm also considering eniki.net and I've heard some good stuff about them, does anyone have something bad to say?
Thanks in advance.

It's been a few days since my original post asking for reviews on robotical and Eniki. It sounds like no one has had a bad time with Eniki...thats great to hear!
Has anyone ever delt with robotical world?
Thanks in advance

Well, i can't say i've ever had a problem with Eniki. Just generally great...ok so maybe this review is a little biased.
Anyway, if you have any questions you can contact us or just ask here.

but you were down at the time  do you have any uptime logs? I know that no one is perfect and it seems like you have a great reputation, but the timing couldn't be worse.....I was trying to show the wife were we might be hosting next

We've had terrible trouble this week with the server on which we are hosted. One of our clients had their email address used to spam and got 1000s of returned emails, causing Exim to go crazy.
We aim for 99% uptime as a minimum and this allows for approximately 100 minutes of downtime per week. This does seem a lot and luckily we almost never see such downtime, but of course there is always the odd case.
What are you hoping to host? Obviously our service is budget hosting and so you won't receive the same service as a high-end host but i do believe that the service you receive is of good quality. Our average ticket response/resolution time is 2 hours - meaning that you question will not only be answered but probably solved within two hours. Again, there is of course the odd situation where this is not the case.
You are welcome to have a free trial if you would like. Simply let us know which plan (email info@eniki.net for a quicker response) you would like and i will set up the system to allow for a trial period.

Eniki,
Thanks for not giving me a song and dance on the down time. ;-)
Do you support imagemagik and PEAR?
Where is the data center..i think you have two..is the planet still available?
Thanks in advance

Yes, although the bulk reseller server that you would be on (if i have interpreted your first post correctly) is located in the Fortress ITX datacentre. If this is a problem then we may be able to work something out.
Also, we support both ImageMagik and PEAR.

Just an update to this previous thread.
I used eniki for about 7 months and it got to a point where I'd rather pay three times more to have a more reliable host that to go through the delays in service and multiple request necessary to run my hosting business.
You get what you pay for and eniki does offer one of the best bangs for the buck, but when mysql is down and your site uses it.....you've got no site, so what did you pay for?
Within days of moving to a VPS solution I found that the search engines ate up my site...maybe I was in line for a deep crawl, maybe the ip range was taboo......I'll never know.
Price per gig hosted went from 1.5 to 4.5 but bandwidth went from .15 to .18 (ratio = $/unit). Now service is 24 -7 and I have an account that is much more reliable, my stress level is much lower and I'm able to work on growing business instead of making sure the server is working.
I will say that eniki was great for a while, but seem to be under heavy server load at the time that I chose to leave. (8-05)
