newaki 02-11-2005, 04:25 PM Ok i use to have hostentric.com for my reseller but they "sold out" to hostndezign.com they have the crappest service, the servers were up and down, hacked, and the customer support well u had to wait atleast a day for someone to reply...
well my reseller account had some many problem, the temp folder was at 100% so me and my clients php scripts werent working, then no1 could access their emails... i sent 3 emails and 3 support tickets still no answer so i stop payment on my credit card and left and went to a better host..
Please save ur money and do not goto hostentric.com or hostndezign.com!!!!

Heh, I agree with that. The "z" instead of the "s" sounds extremely unprofessional and looks like a childs creation.
NakedFisH 02-12-2005, 02:11 AM I had a good run with Hostentric, but ever since merging with hostndezign, my client's websites kept on getting hacked from August til December, the first three months were trojan attacks where our pages kept on having a malicious iframe tag linking to "trytoimprovesecurity.com" and after they patched up their servers, then came the mass defacing of our sites and screwing up our db's as well. There was also a week-long downtime that was somehow related to angelnetworkz' financial screw-up.
Around December, their saturn server was defaced 3 times and the worst was last Christmas.. I wasnt able to spend the holidays because of that.
They did transfer me to another location but I somehow I have this strange feeling that the box is still vulnerable.. even worse, all accounts reverted back to their October setting and I had to setup accounts that were added during November and December.
I just recently moved in the rest of my clients' accounts to my Servint account and right now all of us here are happy.
HnD was promising but I cant blame while the rest of us got frustrated and disappointed. Things got screwed up along the way.
newaki 02-13-2005, 12:37 PM NakedFish... i was on the same server... also everyone has to remember i was a client of hostentric.com first not hostndezign.com .... i gave them a chance... (bad mistake)
will7 02-13-2005, 12:42 PM I agree about the "z" thing. They do it coz they think it looks cool I think. For example:
My design company used to be called FusionCre8. Fine, sounded cool and all. But then, I looked at it from a practical point of view. If I told someone "Go on fusioncre8.com" they might put in "www.fusioncreate.com". Not good for my business.
I could have combatted the above by also registering www.fusioncreate.com but to me, it was more trouble than it was worth. But, just try and go to www.hostndeSign.com (with the "s" instead of a "z") and what do you get? ServerPacket - a different hosting company. See my point?
NS-Addict 02-13-2005, 12:53 PM Hi,
First of all I would like to say how unfortunate it is when your host is very unprofessional (especially in this instance) not only their service but also their name "Z" instead of "s" :)
All I can say is that you have to be very careful nowadays, do your background research.
Anyways good luck
Cap'n Steve 02-14-2005, 12:53 PM Unprofessional or not, I'd take any domain with "ez" in the title. (ezboard.com, etc. seems to be doing okay for themselves.)

Yeah, but the "z" isn't supposed to be in place of an "s"
Besides, they arn't exactly a professional corporate company.
zapshots 05-29-2005, 02:20 AM HostnDesign.com is also bad hosts either they changed their name to serverpacket.com
just care 4 money then better service.. n costumer satisfaction
yungi 11-09-2005, 05:13 PM All my sites on HostNDezign is currently down due to some permission to access error. I've been trying to email them all morning, no response... ;-(

I have changed your permissions for the file needed on ArcadeAce.com. This should fix your error.
You are currently on /home2. I have modified your includes config file to point to /home2. It should now work.

I'm sorry but you people honestly should get out of the hosting biz... seriously.
Fixing something for a client and then saying " it SHOULD work now " when it doesnt, shows the lack of attention you give your clients. If you would have visited TLDN.com after you did that home2 fix you would have seen the error for yourself.
I am leaving at the end of the month...
---------------------------------------- end
Hmm..... all my sites where working fine except 1, they fixed the problem but at the same time f'ed up all my other sites and by the looks of it everyone elses, I am finished with these people... THE END
Added : I just wanted to say that simply because someone uses a "z" instead of "s" doesnt mean they are a bad company, my friend has a domain/company which uses the "z" thingy and he has nothing but good feedback from all his clients. Trust me there are far worse Hosting related domainz out there lol
yungi 11-10-2005, 10:03 AM How do you reach *anybody* at Hostndezign???!! I need help desperately! All my sites are down and they are not responding to my emails.
bart_arg 11-10-2005, 11:47 AM Is it only Venus or all the servers?
yungi 11-10-2005, 11:52 AM yes, Venus
bart_arg 11-10-2005, 12:03 PM Mail servers are not working now...
yungi 11-10-2005, 12:08 PM Now it looks like the entire server is down!
SH*T! there is nobody to help?!!
bart_arg 11-10-2005, 12:21 PM Do not expect an answer from tech.
Not at this moment...
successful 11-10-2005, 01:04 PM What I can't believe is the existance of a host called hostentric.com. Haven't you heard of hostCentric.com ? I'm surprised hostCentric didn't go after these clowns.
yungi 11-10-2005, 01:52 PM Hostndezign use to be Hostentric.com
Hostentric.com use to be very good as a reseller webhost. Since they change (or sold it), support has been down hill...
BluAzn 12-15-2005, 03:05 PM EDIT: Oops, I posted in the wrong topic
yungi 12-15-2005, 03:14 PM are you from Hostndezign?

talkwebhosts 01-12-2006, 05:08 PM Wow, I hope those problems are fixed for you all!
