Avoid at ALL costs. If you check out their forums you'll see that they currently have some very disgruntled customers.

Nobody has responded to support tickets in weeks.

Its next to impossible to cancel your account with them now without simply having your cc provider block payment

Various sites/dns problems go unresolved for days, weeks, months.

Voicemails and faxes to their respective numbers are not answered, forget getting a live person...


The owner of the company sent out an announcement a few weeks ago saying he was going to 'fix' all these problems, but then disappeared off the face of the earth. It appears to me that he was trying to keep some customers around to rake in a bit more cash before disappearing.

There has been some talk about legal action against them but I'm just glad to be off their service now and waiting to see if I get billed again this month even though I followed procedure to cancel.

I will add this: because I read a number of glowing recommendations in these forums, I investigated pixiehost. I sent a pre-sales email to them. They never replied.

I saw that as a bad sign. Most organizations, even when in trouble, will respond to prospective, new customers. If they did not respond to a new prospect, I can only imagine what existing users might be going thru.

Because of that non-response, I took them off my consideration list.
