What are the restrictions on a PayPal personal account? I know that they can't receive credit card payment (right?), but is there a limit on how much they can receive? I looked on the PayPal website, but it didn't tell me if there were receive limits.

A. There is no limit to the amount of maney you may receive with PayPal. However, if you have a Personal account, you may not receive any payments funded with a credit card.

Since you already knew that.. it basically means that there is no limit but whomever you are requesting money from better have a high PayPal balanace or have enough in their bank account to make the money transfer. Most people don't have $1000's of dollars in thier bank account... so that is a limit but not one that PayPal enforces.
