well we are just starting up as a web design and hosting company and we need 1 or 2 designers to do jobs for us we need html, javascript, dhtml and php programmers mainly preferabley with a portfolio or something as well there are also conditions involved though....
1) any site you design for us can NOT be placed in your portfolio and must have our copyright on it.
if you would like to enquire please e-mail me at tonyjennyben@aol.com
Regards
Ben
I dont understand why YOU would get to copyright MY work and I just smell that it might be placed in your portfolio. Thx, but no thx.

Well, if they want more than 1 designer, then it would be a team effort, hense not *just* your work. It would go in the company portfolio instead, with your name a the bottom as a contributing designer or something, right?
Perhaps you (Ben) would consider allowing designers to place a link on thier sites saying "visit this site to view more work I was involved with"?

if you are a designer most places you work claim your work as there copyrights and you are also not allowed to do work on the side/have your own company for $$ barter .
but then if you do work for a company that has these requirements you usually are paid what you are worth
what is the hourly rate on your projects ?
or do you pay by type how much
is there a difference in pay via html or php ?
