View Full Version : How much is a good design worth to you?

Okay,

Now I am part of a company that also does designs,
we've had a few people of the board contact us "Could you make a design for me..."...

But when I ask them what they have as a budget, they usually come up with amounts like $20...
Now I wonder, companies on here, who have lots of monthly income, why won't they pay more for a professional design?

I mean, think of it, we are a company, have employees, expensive software, etc etc... So a site for $20, just wont do... It's a living for us too...

So I wonder, WHY not pay for a nicely, unique and non-default-template site, instead of ripping or downloading some cheap template?

Note the poll!! :D

I would happily pay $1,000 for a site redesign if I knew it was going to be good. This is the problem I have found, the only way to gurantee a good design is get places like pixeljunction.com to do it for you and even then it might not be exactly what you want and they want $5,000 for it (or there abouts), and currently that is out of my price range.
