I plan to transfer my .tv domain from Registerfly.com to another registrar.
I checked .tv registrar by following URL.

The .tv domain registrar is many, but why is few registrar that explain transfer about .tv domain?

Perhaps it's because it's not really a serious TLD.

Do you believe it will take off?

if so i would just send them an email and ask them.

Not all companies that register .tv domain names have the ability to handle .tv transfers

I have seen a few television stations use .tv domains, but I do not like them for one plain reason.

The fact that they charge extra for domains that they consider premium, for instance hosting.tv costs US$5,750 a year to register. Who is to say that at a later date they may consider your name a premium name and decide to charge you extra.

dotTV transfers are not available to OpenSRS resellers, so you won't be transfering your .tv domain to any OpenSRS reseller any time soon.

I don't believe that the dotTV registry supports transfers at this time.

They were recently purchased by Verisign, so someone thought there was value in the TLD.
