A lot of providers have been getting DOS attacked lately and it can cause networks to be down for several hours. Has anyone ever heard of a colo/managed provider to offer some kind of HARD firewall (not accesslist) for huge attacks?
Just doing some research..
Thanks.

I don't know if this is on topic, but I recommend that every datacenter get the AppSafe 3500 to fight DDOS attacks. It would make DOS attacks against everything except DNS almost impossible.

What is the retail on this? Also, it looks more like a load balancer rather then a all in one IDS/Firewall system.
I know you are looking at a managed solution, but if you bring it in yourself, this is what we found to be one of the best solutions we demo'ed
