I heard this on the radio yesterday. A second hand car dealership was telling people to visit their website and if you don't have internet access, don't worry, email them with a description of what you want and they'll find it.

Of course, not that many years ago many people who had email access through online services like Compuserve, GEnie, Dephi or AOL didn't have internet access. Even sending email to users of a different service sometimes wasn't possible; where it was possible it had to be done by using a different addressing format.
