Sorry to post questions about a company here. I emailed them but never got any reply so I'd like to see if anyone using their services is able to help me.

(1) They have charges for upgrading the RAM to 128 or higher. Is that charge a one-time or monthly fee?

(2) Do they really give you 100GB bandwith transfer?

(3) Does the server come with any free software?

(4) If I don't wanna pay them for PHP4 and MySQL, can I install them myself for free?

(5) Generally how's the experience with this company? Would you recommend it?

Thanks! :scatter:

(4) If I don't wanna pay them for PHP4 and MySQL, can I install them myself for free?

Yes, You have full control over what you install.

Thanks guys, it sounds good.

But the only drawback is they still haven't answered my email. I was basically just asking the same things.

Technics, which email address do you normally use to contact them? Or is there a member only portal to reach support?

Thx~

support@tera-byte.com doesnt always get you an answer but sending the message to noc@tera-byte.com always gets me an answer.

pippen... 4webspace.com is run by the same guys as tera-byte.com and i've heard and read noting but rave reviews about them so i would assume the same great quality of service for 4webspace. As they've just started 4webspace I'm sure they've probabbly just become overwelmed with people contacting them about this hell of a deal... so if you don't get a reply in a day or 2 just send again.

heck if it wasn't for the fact that my partner i split server rental costs with is such an anti-cobalt person i would have already switched to 4webspace...

i had also not setup the 4webspace emails until a few days ago so anything sent before that went to email oblivion. if you didnt get an autoresponder we didnt get your message.
that rule actually goes for all support mail at redirection.net tera-byte.com and 4webspace.com

It lasts for as long as you have the account and I don't know you have to email them.
