You guys are comparing the price of mostly-Cogent bandwidth versus non-Cogent bandwidth. The amount of transfer they include is about average for non-Cogent bandwidth. Also, RackShack doesn't let you choose what operating system to install, nor do they offer SCSI and unlimited IP addresses in their higher-priced plans.

But rackshack DOES offer a standard CP. And mostly cogent? You may want to check their network page, cogent is only 1/3 of the total BW.;)

What a setup! Might as well drive down to the headsurfer's home since I live here in houston...If I camp out for two days he just might waive the setup fee for me. Ya'all reckon?

Don't you know that rackshack cogent bandwith is only less than 30% of the total bandwith (http://rackshack.net/aboutus/networks.asp)? I hate to hear people keep saying rackhack is cheap because they are using (mostly) cogent bandwith. You need to get your fact straight.

Having said this, I also agree that we can not always compare host to rackshack which parent company is and ISP (hence they have tons of outgoing bandwith at disposal).
