I'm trying to develop a cgi script to post messages to newsgroups through my website.

I know of one method with perl 5.0 but unfortunately my server host does not have the right software for this. I'm looking for a free cgi host that can do this but I've come up empty on this as well.

Any other suggestions? It would be great if I could some how simply email it and magically get posted. I doubt there is a website that does that though. (Not a bad idea to start).

You can use a mail2news gateway and just send an email with that special format and it will be posted.

e.g.

Post-To: alt.www.webmaster

##
Subject: HYPERMEGAHIPPYXMASHOSTING.com is the best

Yeah.
