From my conversations with them and one other member from here, I am impressed. They aren't very cheap but by talking to them they know their stuff. Of course, the truth of their service will not be revealed until I am up and running for a while. JBIZ718 02-23-2002, 02:21 PM Ive been to a bunch of datacenters and when i toured equinix again it reminded me that they are a little insane First 5 biometric handscans before i even get in the datacenter and a camera every 2 ft. Nothing against anything, but i dont think it gets any more secure Joe mkaufman 02-23-2002, 02:24 PM I read about this datacenter in Wired Magazine a month or two ago.. appletreats 02-23-2002, 02:48 PM Originally posted by mkaufman I read about this datacenter in Wired Magazine a month or two ago.. And this place (http://www.havenco.com/) was in Wired about... 7-8 months ago. Interesting article. The "Principality of Sealand" has its own website at http://www.sealandgov.com/ Haven's cheapest is $750 US/month. What a bargain! bitserve 02-23-2002, 09:15 PM Originally posted by uuallan http://www.usdco.com/ 85 feet underground, in an old gypsum mine...that's pretty cool :). I just referred someone to them a couple of months ago because they needed a data center in grand rapids, and it was all I could find. |
