WOW those CHEAP prices in the netherlands!!! that`s amayzing!!

so the cheapest price for lets say that the server is ready to use is this:

240GB server + 4TB Datatraffic: Euro 149,00 / month
240GB: Chenbro RM114 / 1 x XP2700 / 512MB / 2 x 120GB
Linux / FreeBSD: Free
Cpanel: Euro 29,00 / month

---------------------------------------
Total: € 178,-

if this can be so CHEAP than why is it so hard to find a dedicated server in the netherlands with 1 TB traffic for 99€ a month...??

and i saw something strange.. the first 6 servers have strange prices...

example: 240GB server + 4TB Datatraffic: Euro 149,00 / month = € 298,-
BUT 1x 240GB server + 8TB Datatraffic: Euro 349,00 / month is much more...
i just wanted to tell that.. maybe it`s a mistake.. maybe not..

now if i had the money you would have had a new customer :)
but i don`t got a job so i`m afraid that i need to let this gread offer pass..

EDIT::..

i mis a list of possible hardware upgrades... is that possible..?

1. Cheapest would be Euro149,00/mth.
2. The servers are meant as High Volume; so no 1TB servers are in this special.
3. The packages are 'as is'. If you need special configs, please mail me at info@leaseweb.com

500GB: Chenbro RM114 / 1 x P4 2,8Ghz / 1GB / 2 x 250GB

Is this HT?

LeaseWeb

No. These are the 1MB cache 533 FSB version.

We can upgrade to a Dell PE750 with P4 2,8Ghz/1MB/800FSB (HT) for Euro15/mth extra.

is 7x1000mbps you have 2x Above.net and 2 AMS-IX right?

LeaseWeb
02-06-2005, 10:33 AM
Correct. I forgot to add the 2nd AMS-IX port that we have ordered recently.
Soon (next month) we will upgrade to 10GE on the AMS-IX.

Something else nedimension.com is a reseller of you?

Thanks

Suggestion: If you planning add more uplinks Level3 is a good one i think :)

LeaseWeb
02-06-2005, 11:22 AM
1. Nedimension.com is in our network. Officially a re-reseller.

2. Level3 is not really an extra as we already have 3 Tier1 carriers with a.o. excellent trans-atlantic connections. More carriers is not always better; if that would be the situation, we would have got 20 already.

Maybe it's just me but your trans-atlantic connection looks a little clogged.

Not really.

Looks like the techs switched the IP on the test server. As you can see in the tracert ends at our network.

Please try the new IP (which is also on http://test.leaseweb.com): 83.149.64.15

How is the bandwidth measured, is 3800 GB out and 200 GB in possible with the 4000 GB package

LeaseWeb
02-06-2005, 06:09 PM
Yes.
Or 3999GB out / 1 in.

So no misleading 2000 + 2000 = 4000GB deal.

I don't mean to bash your thread but I have two boxes and a 25mbps line with you guys and for a month I have what appears to be a saturation problem w/ your trans-atlantic connection.

From 8am to 630pm EST my site has over 1 minute load times, after that it goes down to 1 sec. load times. I have been unable to get any real answers from tech support.

Like I said I don't mean to bash you as up until the past month I have been happier then I have ever been with a host, but if this continues any longer I will be out of business, not just saying that, I will actually have to shut down due to lost revenue over this =(

1. Please mail me your customer details + ticket number on info@leaseweb.com
I will ask the techs look into this again.

2. We haven't got a single other complaint from our US customers, so we probably have to look on server level.

Thank you..

I hope this can get resolved, as I said up until the last month you guys have been great. But after close to 10k spent of techs looking over this they all say the same thing, it's a line probelm.

Could you please provide a 5+ MB test file on the same network that the 4000GB servers would be on

Just wanted to post back in here that these guys are a really top notch group. I had a problem w/ my servers that appeared to every tech I hired as a network issue. As it turned out it was not their network that was the problem it was a problem caused by a tech that I hired.

One of the DC techs was able to take a look and solve a problem that has haunted me for two months and figure it out in about an hour.

They have excellent support and great prices, and very fast lines..

Thanks from a very happy customer.
