The tools just aren't ready yet, and a major area of problems is exporting the data in a format that your accountant (who probably isn't a computer guru) can work with. Your accountant will be expecting a Quickbooks or Turbotax or whatever file, and when you try to give him and XML or CSV or however your Linux program exports, it will just make his life harder (and he'll bill you for more hours). |
