First they were experiencing slight connectivity problems earlier, and now they're completely down! JBIZ718 02-22-2002, 10:49 PM Up for me avara 02-22-2002, 10:54 PM That's very strange, because: 1. It does not work for me at all, no matter which server I access there (even nac.net itself, and pwebtech.com) 2. Internetseer reports it down 3. Tried accessing nac.net thru anonymizer, which also reports it down Matt Lightner 02-22-2002, 11:02 PM Hmm.. I have been logged into our servers and working pretty much nonstop for the past two hours, and haven't experienced any outages--or even a slowdown. What does a traceroute to nac.net return for you? Timothy 02-22-2002, 11:06 PM Like Matt and Joe, I've had no problems with NAC connections this evening. avara 02-22-2002, 11:09 PM 15 0.411 206.24.194.100 dcr2-loopback.newyork.cw.net 16 0.399 206.24.207.178 agr1-so-2-0-0.newyork.cw.net 17 0.444 206.24.194.24 iar2-loopback.newyork.cw.net 18 0.430 208.173.135.66 internap-network-services.newyork.cw.net 19 0.450 209.191.128.145 border11.ge3-0-bbnet2.nyc.pnap.net 20 21 22 23 24 25 As you can see, it's not a problem with my connection. It's going fine until pnap.net, where it suddenly stops. Furthermore, Internetseer monitoring service just sent me an email saying that NAC.net is down! acetate 02-22-2002, 11:14 PM No problems here.. Been working on the servers the whole day didn't noticed anything wrong. avara 02-22-2002, 11:17 PM Originally posted by acetate No problems here.. Curious Too 02-22-2002, 11:25 PM Some of my customers can't access the server while others are having no problem. Some sort of routing issue. I'm waiting for them to send me traceroutes. JBIZ718 02-22-2002, 11:33 PM Maybe one of there 8k thosand carriers is down or something. Overall I still dont get how a network that strong has this many problems. Not to knock them, but they really should never have any problems if what they say is true Joe jayglate 02-22-2002, 11:41 PM There seems to be some bizarre routing issues techs are working on it. avara 02-22-2002, 11:43 PM Originally posted by JBIZ718 Maybe one of there 8k thosand carriers is down or something. And as they claim that if one of their carriers goes down, they will simply reroute the traffic to another, it's strange how they are still managing to be down for some users (if they promise to reroute traffic in such a case, why aren't they doing it? And if they can't, why do they promise it??). |
