run that query at ns1.nic.sc, low and behold - it returns the same tld1.ultradns.net / tld2.ultradns.net .

So, now we owners of .sc domains are experiencing wide-spread domain resolution failure in various chunks of the internet.

ns1.nic.sc is setup improperly, but it should still be functional. IANA/ICANN doesn't regulate ccTLDs.

Iana does regulate ccTlds. Icann doesn't.

ICANN just thinks it does.

regardless, alot of money has been lost by those of us who recently registered .sc domains.

These things cost $50/year .. hopefully they'll reimburse us customers.

Why did you register a domain in the Seychelles in the first place?

Availability of good names, and i wasnt aware of any problems facing the tld.
