Is that about the normal size for a swapfile? Thanks!

I'm not sure which sys you use (i hope linux) but at winblow$ i always learned that your swap file should be the double of your internal memory

So 64 MB internal -> 128MB swap

and so on. But linux I'm not sure....

Having troubles ?

Well, I was having troubles with memory when the files would rotate, but things seemed to have calmed down a bit. I have a Raq4i with 512Mb. I just have a sinking feeling that my swap file is too large...

Well, if you have disk space enough, then it's not too large.

A thing you really should worry about however is, that your swapfile has the wrong permissions. Basically anyone can read your swapfile, that possibly contains passwords or other sensitive information from memory.
