Does anyone have an opinion on iPowerWeb? I use it, and was wondering what anyone else thought.

I've been trying to get opinions on them myself. I'm thinking about signing up with them. So what is YOUR opinion?

So far it's been great. I had success with the customer service too, they were very helpful and my problem was fixed right away. One downside is that the customer service number is a long distance call, there is no 1-800 number, but that's no biggie. Not many people have heard of ipowerweb, but I've liked it so far. There package where the domain name is included is a great idea too.

Hey Jenna... I see you run http://www.nsyncvillage.com and link to nsyncstudio.com.

I went to high school with the girl who ran nsyncstudio.com - she didnt really like me, since I was the only one in the school who actually knew what they were doing with computers.. :D

She even said she knew more than me about websites ... m'kay... so I wish your website all the luck in destroying her site and taking all her traffic  ... hehehe

I've only just transferred a domain, but there have been many problems so far, including their use of multiple hostnames for each of their primary and secondary IP's, making for a horrible transfer with VeriSign.

Also some tech problems with their "promotion bonus" for signing up.

Now I am having upload problems because of an undocumented limitation in the number of site files.

I hope it improves from here...

What else is new with them?

What exactly is this limitation on the number of site files? Explain please. And also, tell me if it clears up.

I use Ipowerweb and I recommend them. They got a deal right now where you pay $95, and you get registration setup and a year of hosting....They use Red Hat and Apache. You get 150 megs of space and 15 gigs of xfer (but they're pretty lenient with that) Plus they have a lot of free perks...They have php mysql, frontpage, pretty much everything...Customer Service is pretty good as well...For $95 you cant beat it, IMO

Their 24 hour telephone support really isn't. I've tried at all hours and I got the voice mail runaround.
