Web Design software for managing a vBulletin site?

Care to elaborate a little on that one, as I'm not quite sure what you mean here...

I know what a vBulletin is, but what I don't understand is what kind of software you would need to manage a vBulletin - Why would you need any types of software to manage a vB?

You need a Browser (http://www.firefox.com) - That's about it.

Really? Just a browser? I didn't know that.

Ok, let me rephrase the question: What is good piece of inexpensive quality software that can be used to build and maintain a website (besides FrontPage since FP only builds pages for IE)?

Notepad. Or if you want something a little more robust, Crimson Editor or Notepad++.

If you absolutely must use a visual editor, www.nvu.com will do a better job than most expensive editors, and it's free.

Dreamwaver - I skipped the "inexpensive" part and went for"quality". Dreamweaver is the best in the industry. You've got a text editor if hand coding is your thing, and also a visual editor, WYSIWYG. It's great!

I'm telling ya' Will, nVu does visual editing just as well as Dreamweaver in many respects and much better in others, and it's free :)

Try it - you'll become a believer!

Many people like Dreamweaver. I personal prefer to use FrontPage. it is straightforward. to manage your vB site, you will need vb admincp
