Where would someone start to get information on how to implement the auto creation of sites for hosting customers?

check out PSoft (www.psoft.net) they have a program called SiteStudio, which allows people to make their own sites.

Do you mean auto-creation of a site or auto-creation of the actual hosting account?

First, thanks for the replies. The short answer is probably template creation of sites themselves.

I have the possibility to host sites for sales members of a large corp. I can forsee the need to have easy setup of sites for non programmers. Fill in some forms, choose some graphics and bam, site done.

If you take a look at cgi-resources.com and hotscripts.com under the category 'virtual communities' (I think) you will find a boatload both free and fee to do this for you.

If that is what you need to do, SiteStudio from PSoft.net is probably your best choice. It costs $1.50 set up fee per user using it, so you may want to charge like $5.00 if someone really wants to use it.


Check it out, very professional templates for your customers.

i was jsut checking out how other sites customize their tempaltes
and i notice the pricing for $500-700 for a template! lol

is this correct or am i mistaken
