As some of you may remember. there was a period roughly 3 weeks ago when I was going NUTS looking for a good host, mainly because I was screwed by two consecutive hosts, and was REALLY screwed by SiteTurn ... do a search on this forum and you'll see...
Anyway, I got real lucky as not only did I find a good host, but they also agreed to sponsor me after my persistent pestering. =)
Well, Serve-You.net has been wonderful! The site is always fast and has had no downtimes except for when Dan (the owner) is doing maintenance for my site. There is a scheduled downtime (15 minutes) at 4:00am EST daily, but that doesn't really bother me.
I run a 300mb site that gets roughly 3 million+ page hits, and 30gb of bandwidth per month, and so far, everything's been smooth. Dan has helped me on EVERY occasion that I've asked for help (and trust me, I'm a complete idiot so he helped me quite a bit), and so far, every time it's been within 1/2 hour of my e-mail. I have about 20 e-mails from him total since I've joined, and that's called GREAT SERVICE. They have a 12 hour maximum turnaround time for troubleshooting, so that's pretty good in my books.
I think the greatest quality about this company is that it's relatively small. Being able to talk to owners on a regular basis, really helps. I mean, getting webspace and bandwidth is easily done is a dime a dozen these days; but it is QUALITY CUSTOMER SERVICE that's hard to come by. And Serve-You.net has made me a happy camper.
So I just wanted to let everyone know how my experiences are with Serve-You.net. I've found this forum very helpful (a godsend really), and hence believe that I should give back to both the forum and Serve-You.net.
No, I'm not working for them or anything like that. I just like to push and promote the companies that have helped me build one of the most popular Warhammer fansites on the net.
