I am looking to hire sales people to help market and sell my online service (an ecommerce system).

I can handle local sales, but I am looking for people who "get it" to work with me on a nation-wide scale.

What do I mean by "get it?" People who know how to communicate and be part of a business via the web. I anticipate working with people who I may never actually meet in person, but who can function on their own with guidance from me via email, IM, phone, and documentation.

I guess you could say I am looking for sales people to be part of a virtual team. The compensation is very nice, the product is good, and the system is in place. All I need are sales people.

My problem? Where do I look for people like this? I have doubts that classified ads in the local paper will work.

Does anyone have any ideas?
