How do you guys feel about interchanging spaces with   ?
Like in this forum.. if i make a bunch of spaces and post, it only counts as 1. However, if you view the source of this page..
you will see a bunch of spaces between THIS and THIS

I think it would be good to allow users to make spaces and have them count, but since the page would be loaded with  's
it would make the page a large size, and therefore take longer to load [as well as put more stress on servers]

What is your opinion on this?

I don't think that is a good idea, because you would then have idiots posting nothing but spaces just to get their post count up.

Opens us up for spamming, and would probably increase the load on the CL's and the CG's.

i was talking about replacing spaces with & nbsp ;
[it seemed to leave & nbsp ; and not replace the & or ; with ascii characters.
