Does anyone have any recommendations on public services that will monitor and show uptime on a server? (besides netcraft)

I'm looking for something I can use to monitor uptime or downtime on some of my servers to I have some 3rd party stats to display to customers wanting to verify past status before they sign up for hosting.

Here are a few companies. Some of them are free.

alertra.com
host-tracker.com
easymonitor.com
internetseer.com
servermojo.com
siteuptime.com

Great guys, thanks for the suggestions. I had a couple of those I found through google, but there's a few I didn't see. I'd like to get a diverse sampling from different places. That'll help a lot.

If anyone know of others, please continue to post. I want to get a look at as many as I can.

siteuptime.com is good for being free.

Siteuptime.com does seem like a good one, considering its free and all.

Does anyone here use any of the other ones?

Free is not always good. I tried them out and made payment to monitoring every 2 minutes and got lousy results.

They each look like they have some pros and cons. But I've got some links I can show potential customers now to help build a bit of confidence.

Thanks for the recomendations guys. Much appreciated.

ServerMojo has been good to me - caught a http downtime, and then noticed when it was back up 15 minutes later, so they don't just do a ping every hour like some other free alert sites.

If they could tart up their site a little, and give a link to your site to show customers, and also show the response time.. it'd be brilliant and I'd use it for everthing!

Hperspin.com is fairly cheap and very reliable.
