can anyone help me making a layout for my site....a buddy of myn let me have 2 sites from his main site...his site is godlygaming.com and myn are nfs.godlygaming.com and cs.godlygaming.com and my sites i got the lay out from clantemplates.com but i would like to learn how to make my own...postible even a flash one would be nice...I'm 13 and i only started working on sites and with graphics...people tell me im good for my age and that im a fast learner so i would like to make a cool layout...I use Macromedia programs...and ONLY macromedia...just because i dont like Adobe all that much *sorry adobe fans* so ya...and if you would like to see some of my graphics/banners work feel free to message me on aim or send me and email...AND PLEASE HELP THIS LITTLE WEB NOOBY!

You said you use only Macromedia products, so I assume you probably use Macromedia Dreamweaver for web pages, Macromedia Flash, and Macromedia Fireworks for graphics, right? If so, that's cool. Just IM me at tweak1870, or pm me. I have some experience with these programs.

yes i do...iv used flash for cartoons and stuff...but thats it and i use fireworks ALL the time...for banners n aim icons and stuff....iv got a desent idea what to do there...but im not the best and i still have alot to learn...and yes i use dreamweaver for websites...i no how to do the basics...code, post sites, make sites, and that stuff just need help on the layout part...and ya its great to see someone who uses Macromedia because its hard to come by emm...most ppl use the STUPID ADOBE....gosh i hate adobes but ya...ill be sure to contact ya soon

Adobe isn't a stupid tool. It doesn't suit you, but it suits others. As easy as this. And welcome to the forum! :)

With being a hard core Macromedia fan myself, I still consider calling Adobe "Stupid" as a huge sin.

I recommend you to learn about Adobe tools, because even if most effects and results can be achieved with Macromedia products, Adobe still got it's shot at a few effects that are almost impossible to make with Macromedia specially in the Fireworks vs. Photoshop match, for almost everything else than fine-tuning images, and hard-to-get graphics effects I use my self Macromedia, it's amazingly faster to work with (no, not the program speed, the speed at which you can develop aplications/graphics/animations).

It's a matter of which you get familiar with quickly. I never liked Macromedia, but it could be adorable for people who get used to it already. Sometimes I'm just too lazy to change my techniques.
