Hello All,

About a month ago, I came to this forum looking for a new web host (see thread below).

Inexspensive Hosting Questions.. (http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=31706)

Anyway, I'm back to leave some feedback on the host so that any others in the future may benefit from my experiences. I signed up with Hostculture at a special opening rate of about $60 for one year with 150 MB of storage and 5 GB of transfer. While I have yet to come close to my imposed limits, I have had no problems. I occasionally will get numerous requests on my server all at once, and Hostculture has yet to even blink at them. The uptime is superb.

Hostculture.com has thus far provided me with excellent service and support. I have yet to experience any downtime from them and the customer support I have recieved has been exceptional. I don't proclaim to know a lot about setting up a server. I am usually more involved in the design aspect of a new website. There are a number of features offered by Hostculture that I was not familiar with when I first signed up. Both Aron and Jorge have patiently explained many things to me. Whenever I post a question in their forums, it is promptly and accurately answered.

I primarily use my account as a file server and have not experienced any problems at all. The download speed is fast and files are always transfered properly when requested. The upload speed I have experienced is a tad slow for my taste, but that could very well be my internet connection, (new cable host is theoretically limiting bandwidth) not their servers.

Anyway, all in all, I just wanted to thank the people in this forum for their help and the people at Hostculture for providing me with great service.

If you have yet to hear about Hostculture.com, it is becasue they are relatively new. However, the same guys worked with Downtownhost.com, which I hear is a reputable company.

If you are looking for a host, consider Hostculture.com, and if you are already considering them as a host, add my name to the list of satisfied customers.

Thanks a lot!!

Thank you for the compliments :)

For anybody wondering, please note that James (animeguru) is a paying customer, and posted this by his own free will (since I know there is probably some speculation)

He doesn't seem to visit the forums much (3 posts), so he probably won't see this thread again, at least not for a while.

Though in the meantime, I can provide whatever information you would need to see that he did this by his own free will.

What a nice change in pace, from the negative comments on these forums :)

Yeah, sorry, I don't spend a lot of time in this forum.

My URL is animeguru.com, but all you'll see there are some files that I host for another forum. I frequent the [H]ardOCP forums a lot and use my storage space for pics most of the time.

Anyway, I just wanted to let everyone know what was going on. When I first came here a month ago, there were conflicting views on what I could do for some decent webhosting. Since I eventually found a host through these forums, I thought that I would come back and leave some feedback on them. I know that there are more people out there looking for a host and it can sometimes be difficult finding a good one. I hope that this will help someone else out if they ever need a new host.

If you guys have any questions, I'd be glad to answer them.

I might give hostculture a try. There is a forum there and I can feel the presence of sincerity :D

My only hesitation, is the lack of customers. I may wait awhile when more customers are signed on.
